WORK BACKGROUND
As a Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst practicing in New York City, my early career focused on clinical treatment and empirical research in the field of trauma. I interned concurrently at the Bronx Veterans Hospital and at Mt.Sinai Hospital, working with combat veterans, and Holocaust survivors and their children. After my internship I worked at both of these institutions as a clinical psychologist until 1994 when I opened my private practice.
Supervised psychologists at New York University and Pace University. Worked as Assistant Clinical Professor at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Assistant Professor at New York University's Masters Degree Program in Applied Psychology.
